FAQ

• How does the spring in the end clamp ensure proper functionality?
  The ValkAce end clamp is designed to secure firmly and reliably upon the first installation. If the spring appears less elastic over time, it can be easily manually adjusted back into position. This ensures the end clamp remains reusable and maintains the system's optimal functionality.
  
  
• Is ValkAce also compatible with 28 mm panels?
  The ValkAce system supports the most common frame heights of 25, 30, 35, and 40 mm. Although the demand for 28 mm panels is currently very limited, the existing stock of ValkAce clampsides (48,000 units) provides some flexibility for such applications. For non-standard frame heights, we recommend contacting us for custom solutions.
  
  
• Do the ValkAce profiles need to be cut to attach the end cap?
  No, for panels with a width of 1134 mm, cutting is not required due to the standard profile lengths. However, for panels with non-standard widths, cutting may be necessary to ensure a perfect fit. This is also the case for other systems, such as the Side++ profile in ValkPitched. Our standard profile lengths are designed to minimize the need for cutting.
  
  
• Can the cable clamp be attached to the underside of the profile?
  The ValkAce cable clamp is designed for attachment to the tabs on the top side of the profile. Attaching it to the underside may result in cables running too close to the roof tiles, and we cannot guarantee that the cable clamp will hold the cables' weight when mounted this way. For a safe and durable installation, we recommend using the cable clamp as prescribed.
  
  
• Is the micro inverter clamp compatible with larger optimizers and micro inverters?
  The ValkAce inverter clamp is optimized for optimizers and micro inverters that support a maximum of two panels. For larger models that support 3+ panels, we recommend using a parker screw attachment to the profile. This approach ensures sufficient stability and flexibility for larger inverters.
